Testing is not eligible for Medicare or private health insurance rebate.
Once an order has been placed and payment is made, the cost is non-refundable.
Please note that all kits have a respective expiration date. If testing is not performed within this period, we observe the right to charge you additional fees if you require a replacement of contents that have expired.
Dispatch & Delivery
Orders will only be finalised and dispatched after receipt of payment.
Kits are dispatched as a tracked parcel from Melbourne and follow standard Australia Post domestic delivery timetables. Estimated delivery time is 3-5 business days anywhere in Australia.
All parcels will need to be signed for upon arrival. In the event that no one can sign at your delivery address, the courier will leave a card for you to collect from the nearest Post Office.
In the event that items are missing, defective or damaged in transit, please contact the Head Office immediately for direct replacement.
Test Validity
Testing is non-invasive and safe in adults and children. Young children can be tested as long as they are willing to cooperate with the preparation guidelines and test instructions (generally from 5 years of age and over).
Patient preparation guidelines and test instructions are provided in all kits. You must follow these instructions to ensure accurate and reliable results. Inconclusive results may require recollection.
We encourage you to watch our step-by-step instructional video at least 24 hours before you plan to begin your test.
Each test takes three hours (or two hours for Glucose breath test) and must be performed on a separate day. Tests should be completed and posted back to Gastrolab within three weeks of performing first test.
